Easy to apply self adhesive waterproofing tape with an embossed Aluminium face than can be used to repair metal garages, sheds, caravans and greenhouses which can then be over painted.

Ideal for:
Sealing glazing bars on aluminium framed greenhouses
Redressing window frames and sills
Repairs to caravan side panels & roofs
Sealing leaking seals on PVCu  products

1. Choose a tape width to allow an overlap each side of the repair by at least 20mm (3/4”).

2. When smoothing the tape and pressing into place, use a dry soft cloth.

3. The Tape can be overpainted if desired or left as a decorative finish.

4. When covering glazing bars, care must be taken to form a tight seal where panes overlap.
i. Starting from the top; cut tape to a length about 50mm (2”) beyond the overlapping panes.
ii. Stick tape firmly into position up to overlapping panes, removing interleaving as you go.
iii. DO NOT stick down remaining 50mm (2”) beyond overlap.
iv. Start a new strip of Aluminium Tape, making sure it butts right up to the angle where the panes overlap.

Apply as per first length repeating steps (i), (ii) & (ii).

v. Now bring the first length over the second and press into place. Repeat (i) to (iii) to bottom of glazing bar.
