Sylglas Gutter Repair tape is a quick and easy solution to repairing leaking gutters and downpipes.  It can be applied to surfaces without any elaborate preparation and provides a perfect seal against leakage whether used for prevention or as an emergency measure.

 Recommended Uses:

Prevention of corrosion on metal gutters and down pipes
Sealing joints on gutters and down pipes

Instructions for Use
Please note that there are general Instructions for use which should be read before using this product.  These can be found at the bottom of the products page.

Tools Required:    
                             Gloves  Scissors  Scraper & Wire brush (if necessary)

Gutters
  1. Remove all loose material with a wire brush or scraper.  Wipe clean and ensure surface isillustration showing the application of sylglas gutter repair tape dry.
  2. Cut tape to length required and apply into gutter pressing firmly onto surface and into any cavities.  It is advisable to allow at least 25mm of tape either side of a defective gutter joint.
  3. The tape can be overlapped and smoothed together.

Downpipes

  1. Clean around joint or defective area with a wire brush or scraper. an illustration of a completed application of protecting a joint on a downpipe with sylglas gutter repair tape
  2. Wrap tape around joint keeping firm tension and overlapping each turn by half the width of tape.
  3. Cut from roll and smooth down firmly paying particular attention to tape edges and ends.
